Early Childhood Education (CCL)

Program Information

The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Early Childhood Education program is designed for individuals interested in working in the field of early childhood education (ECE), particularly in programs serving children birth through 8 years of age. The courses are based on current ECE theory and practice, are offered in a variety of formats, and are scheduled to accommodate those who are already working in the ECE field.

Program Notes

You must obtain a "C" grade or better in all courses required within the program.

Some EED courses are offered only once a year; be sure to consider this in your academic planning.

The Early Childhood Education CCL provides additional knowledge, skills and abilities above the embedded certificate in Child Development Associate (CDA) Preparation.  The courses in this program may all also be applied towards an Associate degree (AAS) in Early Childhood Education if you wish to continue your studies.
