Communication Skills for Non-Native English Speakers (AC)
The Academic Certificate (AC) in Communication Skills for Non-Native English Speakers is an interdisciplinary program of study designed to extend traditional ESL coursework. It provides Non-Native English Speakers with oral and written communication interaction, team building, problem solving, public speaking and presentation skills, conflict resolution, assertiveness, and leadership. Students develop skills to enhance their professional, social, and personal interactions, and become more competitive and effective in the workforce.
- You must earn a grade of "C" or better for all courses within the program.
- A total of nine (9) credits of Restricted Electives are required for this certificate.
- Apply for graduation when you enroll for your final semester.
