GCC's Fire Academy meets standards of AZ Fire Service Training Association
Entry level preparation of firefighters to advanced level promotional exam preparation is provided. This program is recognized as a Firefighter Training Agency by the State of Arizona's Fire Marshal's Office in accordance with the student with the standards set by Fire Service Training Association. Partnerships include the following fire departments: Avondale, Black Canyon City, Buckeye, Buckeye Rural, Chandler, Circle City, Daisy Mountain, El Mirage, Fountain Hills, Glendale, Harque Hola Valley, Laveen, Montezuma, Morris Town, Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Peoria, Phoenix, Rio Verde, Rural Metro East & West, Summerton, Sun City, Sun City West, Surprise, Tolleson, and Tonto Basin.For more information, please visit the Fire Science website
