Ghost 211 Concert Sept. 16 Benefits Chem Students

Ghost 211, a band featuring Chemistry professor Robert Blake, is performing 7 - 10 p.m., Sept. 16, in the GCC Performing Arts Center to raise funds for undergraduate chemistry student tutoring. A $10 donation is suggested. Pay in cash at the door or by credit card online. In addition, a percentage of all merchandise sales for Ghost 211 is being donated to the Chemistry Scholars Project.

The "Old School Metal" Ghost 211 band takes its name from the movie "Spinal Tap." One of the movie band members says a piece of amp equipment is his favorite because "it goes to 11" when you crank it up. Get more info about the concert and the band from
