Swim, dunk, spike for fitness

We are fortunate to have a pool on our campus and, after extensive discussions, the Arizona Swimming Gauchos will offer lap swim from 5 -7 p.m. Monday through Thursday plus Saturday mornings 9 - 11 a.m. Find out more about lap swim from Charlie Cunningham, head coach at gasg1@ionet.net or 602-674-0125.The swim group will survey those who inquire to determine the best time for future open swim schedules and, hopefully, they may be able to move the time to an afternoon slot.

Employee Wellness basketball is ongoing and meets on Fridays from noon - 12:50 p.m. in the GCC gym. NBA experience is not required. Come run, sweat and play! Find out more from kc.hundere@gcmail.maricopa.edu.  

Employee Wellness Volleyball meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon-12:50 p.m., also in the gym. Come join this fun and diverse group and add some cardio and laughter (great for reducing stress) to your days. For more information, contact Justin at j.bruce@gcmail.maricopa.edu.  

For those requiring more flexibility in your exercise programs, join us in the Fitness Center at GCC main or North. Registration periods are for one semester ($25) or for one year ($75).Our Fitness Centers are open from 5 a.m. 8 p.m. during the week, Saturdays 6 a.m. 3 p.m. and Sundays 8 a.m. 1 p.m. Instructors are always available to assist you in developing a comprehensive and effective program to reach your personal wellness goals.Please contact me at 623-845-3341 or nicola.perry@gcmail.maricopa.edu, if you need additional information about getting started.
