Veteran Services Center Dedication Nov. 10

Command Chief Master Sergeant Rory L. Wicks, the highest ranking enlisted man at Luke Air Force Base, is the keynote speaker at GCC’s dedication of our new Veteran Services Center beginning at 11 a.m. on Nov. 10. The event will include the appropriate military pomp and circumstance as well as tours of the facility. Students are planning celebratory activities in the grassy area to the west of the Student Union and veteran building. Community veteran and military groups have been invited to participate.

The new Veteran Center is designed to serve as a gathering place for veterans as well as a site where they can receive specialized advising. The center will also feature computers where families and veterans can e-mail and Skype with those serving overseas.
