Don't poke those heels or drive those wheels across GCC growing winter grass.

Stay Off the Grass

Winter is here and that means bye-bye to Bermuda grass and hello to our cold weather turf. Facilities Management reminds everyone to stay off the grass panels until after the rye seed has started growing and the grass carpet has been established. For those who ride bikes or drive utility carts, this applies with double emphasis! The panels are a bit softer than usual so wheels are going to be leaving ruts as they go over the soft surface. Don’t tread on the turf to help maintain GCC’s reputation as a beautiful and well-kept college.
