April 1 Info Meeting to Study in China

Attend an info meeting 3 - 5 p.m., April 1 in the Humanities building, room 111 to learn about GCC's acclaimed and affordable Summer Study Abroad Beijing Program taking place May 28 to July 3. Contact Dr. Bel Quires-Winemiller at 623.845.3744 or studychi.beijing@gmail.com.

$500 scholarships are available toward the $2,670 cost of the five-week language program. The price includes lodging, related excursion expenses in China, one cafeteria meal per day, fees at Renmin University, GCC tuition/fees and medical/travel insurance. Not included are airfare, visas or personal expenses.

Some of the many sights students will see are: Bei Hai Park, Forbidden City, Great Wall, Summer Palace, Tiananmen, Wang Fu Jing, Drum Tower, Chinese Opera, Fragrant Hill, Temple of Sleepy Buddha, Marco Polo Bridge, The Nest and the Egg, Capital Museum, Acrobat Show and much more. Students earn five transferable credit hours and experience one of most exciting cities in the world. Classes offered: CHI 101, CHI 102 ART 111, ART 211 and ART 298.
