Reporting from GCC China AdventureAnother excellent Summer Study Abroad in China has come to an end. Time has gone so fast, and the students and I have gone through so many wonderful cultural and learning experiences. We visited many memorable sites -- the Temple of Heaven, Bei Hai Park, Forbidden City, Great Wall, Summer Palace, Tiananmen, Wang Fu Jing, Drum Tower, Chinese Opera, Fragrant Hill, Temple of Sleepy Buddha, Marco Polo Bridge, The Nest and the Egg, Capital Museum, Acrobat Show and much more. Students earned five transferable credit hours and experienced Beijing, one of most exciting cities in the world. Classes we offered: CHI 101, CHI 102 ART 111, ART 211 and ART 298.At the end of June, our students had the most extraordinary opportunity to learn Chinese painting with some of the best students of Gao Yi, one of the most important artists in China.
