Our admission requirements conform to the regulations of the U.S. Government for issuing F-1 student visa documents. General Information for F-1 Nonimmigrant StudentsPROSPECTIVE students seeking admission based on F-1 nonimmigrant status must have the equivalent of a United States high school diploma. It is recommended that F-1 nonimmigrant students have graduated in the upper 50% of their secondary school (high school or equivalent) in order to ensure success in academic classes at this college. Applicants for admission to the college must have high school and college (if applicable) transcripts sent directly from the high school or college to the International Students Center. In addition, it is the applicants responsibility to have all transcripts translated into English and evaluated by a foreign credentialed evaluation service if necessary. Apply Today! Students Under 18 Years OldGCC recommends that students who are under the age of 18 (minors) have a guardian in the United States. In the event of personal emergency, accident, illness, incarceration, etc., the State of Arizona will require the signature of a guardian before assistance such as hospitalization, legal counsel, etc., can be offered. Glendale Community College is not permitted to act in the place of the parent or guardian. |
