Phones in Classrooms
Telephones have been installed in most classrooms on the college campus. These phones are located near the front of each classroom (in some cases, phones may be located immediately outside a classroom, e.g. Chemistry) and enable faculty to call any number (five number extensions, i.e. 5-XXXX) on campus. Faculty may also call 911 from each phone. Phones are provided to enhance safety in the classroom, call for technical assistance or report unsatisfactory conditions. A red and white colored, spiral bound Quick Reference Guide for Handling On-Campus Emergencies is located with each telephone.
