First-Year Experience

The First Year Experience Program (FYE) is a structured academic program designed to increase the likelihood of college success for incoming students. Three predesignated classes are linked through instructors, assignments and lectures. Before the start of the semester, the instructors meet and agree upon assignments applicable to all three classes, decide on order and presentation of course material, and coordinate many other aspects involving college classes. The FYE objective is to promote learning in a student and faculty-friendly, supportive environment which focuses on developing successful students.

For more information go to the First Year Experience Program (FYE) web site.
