High Tech Centers
The High Tech Center is more than an imposing two-building infrastructure with the basic premise of being multi-disciplined, multi-purpose, and providing maximum access to users. It is home to the Student HelpDesk, to the production facilities of the The Voice, to the campus network infrastructure, to the college Writing Center, as well as computerized classrooms and faculty offices.
At its core is a support staff consisting of instructional technicians and student associates who provide client support services to users of the facility. Under an open-lab concept, assistance with software application programs is given to those who are registered in various open-entry/self-paced, flex computer classes and students working on assignment from any course in curriculum which may be enhanced by the use of a computer.
