2013 QUALIFYING STANDARDS

I Hand times will be entered as HT into Direct Athletics which will convert to FAT. I Both men and women DMRs will not be composite times. Must be the actual event. I The Pentathlon cannot be contested over two days (must be one day competition). Entries will be entered into TFRRS and the top 16 in each event will be entered into the championship.

Nine contestants will qualify for the finals in each field event. * = Composite times can be used to compute total times (no splits, actual timed event). NOTE: The 60, 200, 400 & 600 races will qualify to the finals by the 8 fastest times. NOTE: Standard may be met at indoor or outdoor events.

To more accurately determine the altitude adjustments for the 2013 NJCAA standards refer to the NCAA Track and Field Handbook at www.ncaa.org. The time allowance for altitude is figured by putting the performance into the altitude program developed by the NCAA for each site and event.

The competitive field in the pentathlon (women) and heptathlon (men) will be fixed at 16 participants. The top 16 entries listed on Direct Athletics will be submitted for consideration by the deadline date.
