In the 2010 Valley of the Sun Bowl, the Gauchos will take on the Central Lakes College Raiders from Brainerd, Minnesota. The Raiders were 10-1 in this past season, and are currently ranked 15th in the most recent NJCAA poll. The Gauchos, who qualified to host the Valley of the Sun Bowl by virtue of having the best Western States Football League amongst the 4 Maricopa Colleges with football programs, are currently ranked 19th in the NJCAA poll. This is the second consecutive appearance for Glendale in the Valley of the Sun Bowl, and their 17th Valley of the Sun Bowl appearance in the Bowl's 29 year history. This year's game will be played on December 4 at 1:00 in Glendale Matt Hanhilla Stadium.
