Soccer Players Participate in All-Star Game
On Feb 13th, at Scottsdale CC, there will be an all-star game for our conference's men's and women's soccer teams.The women's game is at 6p and the men's game is at 8p. Representing the Gauchos in the women's game will be Corine Newborough, a sophomore defender from Centennial, Kelsie McCanna, a freshman goal keeper from Ironwood, Shondra Meek, a freshman midfielder from Boulder Creek, and Miyako Herrera, a freshman defender from Centennial. The Head Coach for the Gauchos, Omid Aziminejad, will be coaching the team since he was named coach of the year for the '09 season.
Representing the Gauchos in the men's game will be Justin Doyle, a sophomore defender from Deer Valley, and Jesus Sepleveda a sophomore forward from Maya. A big congratulations goes out to all those participating.
