Volleyball advances to Region I Playoffs
By virtue of their 2nd place finish in the ACCAC regular season, the Lady Gauchos have advanced to the NJCAA Region I championships tournament this coming weekend. They will open play on Thursday against #3 seed South Mountain CC in a 5pm match at #1 seed Scottsdale CC. The entire tournament schedule follows:Thursday, 11/5
Match 1 - #2 Glendale CC vs. #3 South Mountain CC - 5pm
Match 2 - #1 Scottsdale CC vs. #4 Phoenix College - 7pm
Friday, 11/6
Match 3 - Match 1 loser vs. Match 2 loser - 11am
Match 4 - Match 1 winner vs. Match 2 winner - 1pm
Match 5 - Match 3 winner vs. Match 4 loser - 7pm
Saturday, 11/7
Match 6 - Match 4 winner vs. Match 5 winner - 4pm
Match 7 - if necessary - 7pm
