Falco Named Defensive Player of the Year
Tyler Falco, a two year starter for the Gauchos in the outfield, has been named NJCAA Division II Defensive Player of the Year by the NJCAA. Falco, who attended Horizon High School, has also been named 1st team All Region and All Conference for the past two seasons. Falco is the 3rd Gaucho player to receive a Gold Glove Award in the past three years; the other award winners were Martin Gordon (OF – Desert Vista) and Taylor McGregor (2B – Sunrise Mountain). The Defensive Player of the Year Award and the Gold Glove Award are sponsored by the Rawlings Sporting Goods Company.
